Singita Sasakwa Lodge is situated in the Grumeti Reserves amidst vast numbers of resident and migratory fauna year-round. The Singita Grumeti Reserve covers more than 350,000 acres of untouched, private land in the western corridor of the Serengeti ecosystem. The reserve is on the route of the Great Migration, giving you once-in-a-lifetime access to one of the world’s most spectacular natural events. Since 2003, when the reserve was established, conservation efforts have protected an abundance of resident wildlife, such as the five most sought-after animals — lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and African buffalo. You have a variety of activities to enjoy during your stay at the lodge, such as game drives, safari walks, equestrian excursions and an on-site spa. The area has more than 70 species of mammals, more than 400 breeding African buffalo, one of the largest concentrations of elephants in Africa, and many others. Singita Sasakwa Lodge is also located along the path of the Great Migration when over one million wildebeest and thousands of zebra travel north through the reserve around May-June, and return back south in November.
